Controls Engineer (2nd shift/split)- Oakland County

1.         Be able to lift 50lbs
2.         Be able to climb over and into machines to repair them
3.         Be able to be a self starter.  There is not much a backup for this job on second shift.
4.         Have five or more years programming Allen-Bradley Controllogix processors
5.         Have five years of programming Allen-Bradley Panelview plus HMI’s
6.         Be a hands on person to fix assembly lines, not scared to get their hands dirty.
7.         Siemens programming is a plus
8.         Be able to use a lathe and a mill is a plus.
9.         Vision experience is a plus  (Cognex or Keyence)
10.        ABB robot experience is a plus

Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred—will consider non-degreed if they have hands on solid experience.
Minimum of  3 years field experience
Minimum 2 years of High Level programming language
Industrial electricity, safety circuits and devices, Ladder Logic, Operator Interface software
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, and presentation skills.
Project management and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a team oriented environment
Microsoft Office and knowledge of databases
Programming Controllogix
Panelview /Plus programming
programming the Cognex Vision system.
This is for second shift/split shift so this person will need to rely on their own mechanical talents to do most projects. 
Need a self-starter

AB and Siemens controls systems a plus
Robotics programming (ABB), servo motors and drives
DC nutrunners, barcode scanners, printers

Provide programming and electronic support for Manufacturing Engineering and Maintenance to support production.  This includes machine and process troubleshooting.
Develop and maintain electrical systems to ensure a safe working environment colleagues, improve quality, and improve process performance.  These systems will incorporate the use of PLCs, robotics, and other electronic devices per  our Equipment Standard.  These systems will provide for future expansion while maintaining modern technology. 
Design, create, and implement required equipment for implementation of additional sensing devices.
Support controls integration of quality and equipment related failsafes.
Develop and  modify PLC and Robotic Programs.
Develop and modify Data Acquisition Systems via high level language programming including HMI/SCADA programming  (RS View).
Identify specific electrical devices on established equipment.
Testing and validation of designs.
Proposes and implement electrical control systems that optimize machine and process performance.
Ensure equipment compliance with OSHA, NEC, NFPA and other applicable standards.
