Job Summary
The Account Manager will have responsibility for assisting the sales team in global sales and business development activities. This will include assisting in creating and delivering the annual sales plan and the ongoing development of the sales team to ensure sustainable growth in the various markets for the company. The position will include strategic activities in concert with product management and marketing by developing new vertical markets, new applications and new accounts. Assistance will be required to create and deliver monthly and quarterly forecasts and other reports, and delivering presentations to major accounts. Candidate must bring active knowledge in the sale of Leak Test standard hardware, Process Monitoring equipment, test services and traceability as well as custom integrated solutions which contain a Leak Test within the process. The Leak Test requirement for this position is inclusive of all the company’s standard hardware, software and services. Territory includes Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Pennsylvania and Ontario.

Primary Responsibilities
Be accountable to deliver profitable revenue to support corporate objectives
Be responsible for management of key accounts, including OEM and channel partners
Perform to quotas assigned on bookings and targeted gross margins
Assist in preparation of forecast and annual targets and quotas
Manage sales and quotations using Sales Force to ensure all sales leads are managed efficiently
Participate directly in closing large sales opportunities and establishing major accounts
Prepare month bookings forecast as requested by management, with clear reporting on sales progress, opportunities, obstacles, lost business
Measure and analyze pre and post sales metrics such as funnel or pipeline metrics, win/loss reports and discount reports
Participate in the creation and delivery of the channel strategy and establish direct and indirect sales structures to support the channel strategy
Feedback market requirements from customers to the product management team
Feed information from the company to the customers about new products, improvements, special offers, tec., to stimulate interest and generate sales.
Bring forward to the organization the core product knowledge of Leak Test

Minimum Qualifications
Post secondary education at the Bachelor’s level mandatory, Master’s preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Charismatic speaker, natural instructor
Sales experience that includes the sale of value added services
Must have held previous positions in both direct and indirect technical selling
5 or more years performance in Account Management, directly engaged in Leak Test, Process Monitoring equipment, test services and traceability at or above quota
Proven track record of business development, new customer development
Demonstrated consistent growth, year over year, with various metrics such as actual sales vs. quota, number of customers, sales per year, additions to customer base
Basic understanding of test and measurement systems and manufacturing technology or demonstrated ability to quickly learn new markets
Ability to quickly grasp new technical concepts
