Job Description
To oversee operations and maintenance of fully automated suspension module alignment machines. An alignment and controls engineer is responsible for keeping automated machinery and alignment equipment in best working order through monitoring, determining actions, and executing them as necessary to maximize productivity and safety.

Essential Duties:
Daily monitoring of aligner throughput
Daily monitoring of alignment accuracy of finished product
Analyze alignment results of final assembled vehicles and make adjustments accordingly
Assist in improvement of equipment PMs
Make improvements to PLC ladder-logic control programs
Assists in the development and installation of new alignment-related equipment
Performs special assignments as delegated.
At times, may be required to work at heights above ground level.
Performs other duties deemed necessary by the Manager.

Education / Skill / Experience Requirements:
2-yr Associates Degree minimum, Bachelor preferred. At least 2 years experience with automation, vehicle alignment, or in a quality environment where statistical analysis is used. Must be a qualified and experienced professional with expertise with excel or related software for statistical analysis. Must be proficient in Allen-Bradley PLC programming. Must have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Mechanical experience helpful. At times, must be able to work in stressful situations.

Bosch-Rexroth pressing spindles and WinPepR software
Dalso Inspect cameras and interface software
Emerson-Control Technique servo drives and interface software
