Performs the supervision/management of the Maintenance department, and requires the ability to manage and develop maintenance mechanics, maintenance machinists and apprentice level workers, direct work flow and hit functional objectives, such as equipment uptime, monitor PM schedule, effective utilization of staff and on time delivery of facility projects. The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that work standards are communicated and met. Responsible to ensure the technical capabilities of the maintenance personnel are developed and maintained at a consistent level. Maintaining a safe, clean and orderly working environment along with effective facility project and task management are some of the highest priorities for this position. This is a working supervisory position which requires the Maintenance Supervisor to also perform the duties of a master maintenance mechanic/machinist.

Minimum of 12 years experience in the troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of precision commercial and aerospace industrial equipment; experience with fastener equipment is desirable. Minimum of 5 years experience in a management/supervisor role in the manufacturing maintenance and/or equipment environment.Proficient with plant electrical utilities, compressed air systems, hydraulics, electrical control systems, pneumatic controls and PLCs. Knowledge and application of OSHA, ANSI safety practices and regulations. Knowledge of and demonstration of Continuous Improvement practices. Knowledge of 5S practices.
