Responsible for managing CDI Production Chemistry. Communicates, implements, and manages a plan of production by determining short and long term goals/projects for the department ensuring that business objectives are met as well as maintaining high levels of quality and safety. Provides direct supervision to the Chemistry Technicians and/or Chemists. Provides engineering expertise and technical supports to all functional groups within the company's organization.
Qualifications:
Requires a Bachelors degree, Masters Degree preferred, in Chemistry and/or Chemical Engineering, combined with a minimum of five years work experience in Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Laboratory Supervision. Detailed knowledge of the device function and critical processes that affect the product. Strong statistical analysis techniques. Good knowledge of manufacturing processes. Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills. Good knowledge of FDA regulations and ISO standards.
