The Biological Applications Engineer supports the development and sale of industrial water and wastewater treatment solutions. This position interfaces with customers, vendors, sales management team, and the engineering/project management team during all phases of projects.

Qualifications:
Minimum of a BS in Chemical, Environmental, Civil-Sanitary Engineering, or Biological Science degree, or equivalent biological wastewater treatment experience. Minimum of 5 years experience in the wastewater industry to include: design and application of biological wastewater treatment processes, operation of complex industrial plants (commissioning, start-up, process performance testing, daily operations). Minimum of 3 years applications engineering and equipment cost estimating experience, preferably in capital equipment or system sales preferably in the oil and gas industry. Thorough knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes, including physical/chemical separation, membrane separation, anaerobic and aerobic biological treatment. Knowledge of the refinery and petrochemical processes and their impact on wastewater quantities and characteristics. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
