This position is located in California.
Seeking a Systems Engineer to support vehicle product development and
production. The first task of this role will be to assist in the derivation and decomposition of system requirements working closely with both the prototype manufacturer and launch customer. The engineer will assist with developing the verification test documentation for the vehicles and will
review existing data from the prototype program in support of this. The engineer will help with defining areas required for vehicle development and will support product development in this area.
Basic Qualifications: Experience with working within the framework of a requirements management tool, preferably DOORS, including change management, producing reports and implementing traceability. Knowledge of full life cycle systems engineering principles and experience with developing requirements and configuration management. Working knowledge of aircraft systems and familiarity with relevant standards (FAA, FAAAST etc.).
