Seeking qualified composites shop lead/supervisor with experience in composite aircraft production. This role is for a hands-on person with great attention to detail and excellent people skills. The first task of this role will be to quickly learn and understand the unique bonding and assembly processes used in the production of these aircrafts. The lead in this position will help refine and improve the production processes, equipment, and tools in order to create an efficient, organized, and lean factory. After production operations begin, the supervisor will work hands on along with shop floor personnel to produce top quality aircrafts and contribute to process improvement using lean processes and tools.

Basic Qualifications: Excellent interpersonal, coaching, and leadership skills. Relevant experience as a department lead or supervisor. Extreme attention to detail and continual pursuit of perfection. Hands on experience in a precision yet manual manufacturing setting. Excellent Organizational Skills and problem-solving skills. Experience with composites or aircraft fabrication and assembly. Knowledge of lean manufacturing philosophies and tools a plus. Experience with manufacturing based ERP systems a plus
