Seeking a Chief Engineer to develop and lead company's engineering function. This is both a strategic role as the Chief Engineer will be the custodian of the company's products, architecture and configuration and a
customer facing role, ensuring that the company continues to meet the requirements of its customers. The Chief Engineer will rely on extensive experience and judgment from a varied and diverse background of fields, practices and procedures. Establishing technical integrity management
procedures, change control processes and a configuration management system will be key initial tasks, as well as developing and implementing a strategy for achieving the requirements of FAAAST’s rules and regulations. The Chief Engineer will provide direction for business policies, processes and procedures relating to engineering activities and provide leadership to a crossfunctional team of engineers.

Basic Qualifications: Bachelor Degree in Manufacturing, Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering. Proven hands-on experience in airframe fabrication, assembly and integration, with a very good understanding of composite airframe design and fabrication techniques. In depth understanding of the testing, inspection, quality issues and certification of aircraft. Prior experience establishing and/or maintaining a vehicle configuration management system. Experience in a flight test and evaluation environment. Knowledge of full life cycle systems engineering principles.
