Materials Manager

Located in Macomb County

The Material Managers role will take over material handlers (hi-lo drivers) and to improve the process, assessing the system in place. The shipping & receiving, materials coordinator and materials planning teams will report to them.

  • Must have high volume, fast pace automotive experience.

  • Should have worked with annual operational revenue of at least $150M

  • Plex is a plus, Metals experience preferred

Cost Estimator / Processing Engineer

Located in Macomb County

The Senior Estimating & Processing Engineer will be responsible to support the Non-Automotive Business Development Team in creating design concepts in ACAD and INVENTOR, Estimating and Proposal write-up to help securing business outside of the Automotive Industry. Establish written quotes, concepts, and assembly processes for custom equipment, automation and material handling systems, write technical proposals and specifications; as well as present technical solutions to end users assisted by the Director of Business Development.

  • Technical Degree, preferably a Mechanical Engineering Degree

  • Engineering and Equipment Design background for a minimum of 10 years

  • Know-how in Mechanical and Controls aspects, Motion Control and Equipment design

Accounting & Tax Manager

Located in Macomb County

The Accounting & Tax Manager will manage the Accounting function of the company and be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of the company financial statements for all divisions in accordance with GAAP.

  • Bachelor degree in accounting or finance from an accredited four (4) year college plus ten (10) years experience in accounting including 3-5 years management experience.

  • Minimum of 2 years SAP financial modules experience is required.

  • Experience in managing accounting functions in a manufacturing company.

CAD Designer/Translator - Japanese Bilingual

Located in Macomb County

This role could be great for a student to seasoned designer… as long as the person can translate and knows some basic CAD (they will work directly under a SR Engineer).

  • Must be capable of translating CAD, CATIA V5

  • Familiarity with engine components is a plus

Mechatronics Product Engineer

Located in Oakland County

Growing Oakland County company that specializes in providing product engineering and account management support internally to the business units and externally to the customer base is seeking a talented Product Engineer who has hands on experience with actuators, motors, sensors, etc…

  • 8+ years of automotive experience in product design and development, including familiarity with OEM processes and systems

  • 5+ years of specific design development experience in Mechatronics

Product Manager - Aftermarket

Located in Oakland County

Coordination of all internal and external activities for the assigned product portfolio including customer technical support. Deriving from the market which products from the company’s OEM area should be made available and taking into account the financial objectives to make them available; deriving and suggesting the respective price positioning, target costs and the technical specification of the products. 

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Engineering or related subject.

Software Process Engineer

Located in Saginaw County

This individual must understand the entire system, software development lifecycle and general quality assurance methodologies. Someone who has an embedded software engineering background and prior process development/ deployment experience would be ideal.

  • Experience with implementation of Automotive SPICE and/ or CMMI Level 3 processes

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience working with financial data and report development

  • Minimum of 3 years of quality assurance & at least 2 years’ experience in Automotive domain

Software Engineering Program Manager

Located in Saginaw County

We are looking for candidates with a strong embedded system project management background. This individual must be able to build and guide a strong project management team. PMP certification is an added benefit.

  • Minimum of 10 years of embedded system development experience.

  • Minimum of 4 years of Project Management and/or Leadership experience.

Embedded Software Architect

Located in Saginaw County

We are looking for candidates who have in depth knowledge of embedded software in control system applications where system timing, safety mechanisms, and performance are crucial.

R&D Engineer - Steer by Wire

We are looking for an energetic Mechanical Engineer to design power steering columns specifically working on steer by wire technology.

Project Engineer 

Located in Bay County

Provide advanced engineering and manufacturing solutions to support the company’s new business development (NBD) initiatives, act as the primary engineering customer liaison for NBD, conduct market analysis and R&D to support the company’s development into the industry leader in lightweight structures manufacturing.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (or related field).

Electrical Engineer - Mid to Senior

The Electrical Engineer may work on several concurrent projects. The Electrical Engineer has gained extensive experience in all areas of electrical or mechanical design and is a recognized expert in his/her discipline.

IoT (Internet of Things) Engineer

Use the development skills and be responsible for overseeing the quality design and build of an IoT platform - AWS that will collect data from physical assets (i.e. range of Electrical chargers, warehouse utility vehicles, etc.) and enable analytics that drive business operations.

Electrical Test Engineer

Located in California

Seeking a Electrical Test Engineer with a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and a minimum of 5 years' experience in automotive testing. 

  • Tests hardware/software design, set-ups, implementations and documentation

  • AC/DC wiring, PLC control programming, data acquisition set-up and troubleshooting

  • Performs new product prototype and validation testing to specification

System Safety Engineer

We are looking for a candidate who can apply the ISO26262 functional safety process to systems like Electric Power Steering, Autonomous Steering Systems, and Steer by Wire Systems in development. The System Safety Engineer supports the full lifecycle of the safety process - from concept and requirements through design and analysis to implementation and testing. The ideal candidate has a strong interest in embedded systems.

  • Degree preferred

  • Experience in automotive, electronics, safety, embedded software, or mechanical areas

  • Awareness of automotive engineering and chassis systems

Casting Simulation Engineer

Prepare and perform computer simulation of casting processes to support component development for new programs. Make recommendations for development of cast part, process, and tooling based on simulation output.

  • Completion of a simulation software provider training course is preferred

  • Experience in cast product and/or process development

  • Experience as user of casting simulation software for either HPDC or LPDC

Maintenance Electrical Technician

Installs, maintains, and repairs machinery, equipment, physical structures and pipe and electrical systems in industrial establishment.

  • Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school

  • Experience and/or training in a maintenance role

  • Ability to install and maintain pneumatic, hydraulic systems, MIG, TIG, automated welding, PLC, Elect diagrams... Installations, maintenance.

Project Engineer - Metallics / Lightweight

Seeking candidates with a strong technical understanding of automotive body, chassis and suspension systems to lead product design & development of new products and improve upon existing products.

  • Degree in Engineering – preferably Mechanical or related field

  • Related experience in automotive design and manufacturing

  • Solid experience in design of Suspension Cross members & Assemblies, Suspension Links and Arms, Hitches, Bumpers, Body-in-White and Closures Experience

Casting Engineer

The Casting Engineer will act as subject matter expert for aluminum to deliver manufacturing feasible products and support engineers and project teams to develop and launch lightweight aluminum structures.

  • Degree in Engineering – preferably Mechanical or related field

  • Experience with manufacturing in light alloys; conducting and reviewing casting process simulation

  • Ability to understand micro-structural, defect, and failure analyses of aluminum

  • Knowledge of Aluminum extrusions and extrusion DFM is preferred

Sales Manager

The Sales Manager leads, promotes, and generates revenue from selling charging products and services. Experience in the automotive market and/or a strong background selling accessories to automakers or through their distribution channels is strongly preferred.

  • Degree in Business Administration or equivalent combination of education and work related experience

  • Experience in Sales - preferably verifiable sales success exceeding personal quotas

Senior Systems Engineer (motor controls)

The Senior Systems Engineer is responsible for motor control analysis, modeling and design of the motor control and drive system for electronic steering systems. See the full lifecycle of the project – from requirements to design to testing to implementation to production. 

  • Experience in motor control systems and drives

  • Knowledge of electric machine types commonly used in electric power steering such as brushless PMSM and DC brush, automotive and chassis systems preferred

Quality Engineer

Provide advanced quality planning (APQP) from the phase of product definition / acquisition to serial transmission to plant (national and international).

  • Degree in Engineering – preferably Quality Management or related field

  • Experience in automotive Quality or Manufacturing

  • Data driven analytical approach to problem solving, quality systems and tools:

    • 8D, Six Sigma, TS16949, VDA, APQP, PPAP,  etc.

Electrical Applications Engineer - Labview

Leveraging electronic signature analysis software and In-Process Testing (IPT) technology to understand manufacturing process behavior  you can create custom applications using the company software to acquire, process, and analyze data from analog and digital instruments, and then apply it to manufacturing lines. Collect and process data from instruments such as load cells, pressure transducers, linear and rotary encoders, measurement lasers, and accelerometers.​

  • Degree in Engineering – preferably Electrical

  • Programming skills – preferably C, Visual Basic, or equivalent

  • Familiarity with typical manufacturing test processes (i.e. leak testing, gauging, engine testing, press force monitoring).

  • Experience with data acquisition systems such as LabVIEW, HBM, or others
